Aaron and his beautiful mother
|
Aaron turned 43 yesterday. His party, if you can call it that, would be a big disappointment to the American Cancer Society who claim title to being the official sponsor of birthdays, but if you know Aaron you know that he didn't care. He doesn't require a lot of pomp and circumstance, in fact he requires none, he just enjoys being with his family and getting new socks, a tie, or a bag of candy from his youngest child. He is always content to let others shine, and a little love and a little thoughtfulness go a long way with this wonderful man.
What you see with Aaron is what you get. He is the same steady, happy, and kind person at home as he is at work and church. He bears his burdens with a quiet dignity and never faults the Lord for giving him such a heavy load. He is my very own
Captain Moroni, and I have never been more grateful for the covenants that bind me to him and to God. It fills me with hope and joy to know that Aaron is forever mine. That there is no disease of body that can ever take him away from me permanently. I often ask myself how a little nobody like me ended up with such amazing blessings.

| Maddie busted out of the hospital on Aaron's birthday. One down, two to go! |

| Maddie's grandma is such an efficient packer that Maddie had to leave the hospital in her stocking feet:). |
Happy Birthday A!! Some of the best people I know were born in May...:)! Many happy returns.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Aaron! You are in so many of our thoughts and prayers (more than you realize). Keep battling and know that we all love you!!! Jason L-
ReplyDeleteI think of you often Aaron. My kids who have never had a chance to meet you asks me how you are doing from time to time as well. When you were first diagnosed I shared with them what a great person you are and some of the stories about you that show your humility, kindness, and integrity. You left an impression on them, but then they don't call you big A for nothing! I'm late in wishing you a happy birthday, but it sounds like you had a good one surrounded by your family who I know are your greatest treasure and you theirs. Know that we pray for you often and wish you the best. -Much love, Nicole (Parker) Tomlinson
ReplyDeleteYou made the world a better place the second you entered it, the Paul Johnson family loves you!!
