One day, we went to Aaron and Lorraine's house to pick up a bunny, Templeton. They gave it to us for free, and he even gave us the pedigree so we remembered it's ancestors. A year later, we got Ashley, but when we found out she was a boy, we sold her and went back to Aaron's to get Tessa, another baby bunny. Aaron is really good at finding the most beautiful bunnies to breed, and he's always so willing to give them away. When we decided to breed our rabbits, he helped us know what to do and how to feed them and how much to feed them and how much wood shavings to put in the nesting box. Whenever we get new bunnies, we love to send texts back and forth with Aaron, and he's always so interested. We were surprised when we got a text last week from Aaron. Even during his illness, he took time to tell us about a new spotted bunny that he'll have for us soon. We're so excited for it, and grateful that Aaron's doing well enough to send a text.A couple years ago, Aaron and Lorraine babysat Millie and baby Ivie. Aaron took a special liking for Ivie, and she for him. He must have reminded her of her own daddy. After that, we loved sending texts with pictures or videos of Ivie for Aaron, and he sent things to her that he knew would make her happy.Uncle Aaron is so cheerful! Every time we come to his house, he always has a big smile on his face. We're hopeful that he will fight off this cancer! We love you Uncle Aaron!Millie, Grace, Claire, and Ivie
As Aaron's family, we think he is the greatest and we know there are many others who feel the same way. He is a friend to all and sees the best in everyone. Our Big A is truly one of a kind. Aaron has always been a healthy guy and has never smoked a day in his life. When he became sick in January, we never dreamed it was anything serious. Multiple doctors told him it was Bronchitis. By March, he and Sweet Lorraine knew it was something more serious. X-rays were alarming and the biopsy showed Adinocarcinoma Lung Cancer. He will soon begin treatment. He and Lorraine, along with Kaitlin, Maddie, David, Brigham, Ella and Lily are asking for your faith and prayers.
We are so glad tgat Templeton made the blog. These are great stories. I didn't know about Aaron and Ivie.
ReplyDeleteSurely love all of you,
